READ is a multidisciplinary international firm that focuses on architecture, interior, and urban design with headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. We develop a wide range of architectural projects, from interior renovations to ground up buildings, with a focus on restoration and sustainability.
READ premise is to understand the complexity of the site - investigating and researching the pre-existing condition of the space or site we work in to retain traces of the emotional historical heritage that defines them and with this design sensibility in mind, we propose design interventions. We have a design expertise in the use of passive house high-performance techniques to create a sustainable and high-quality environment for each project.
